Adrian Isaacs
Adrian Isaacs, B. Comm., CPA, CA, CIRP, LIT (Inactive).
Founder & Managing Partner

Adrian Isaacs is the Founder and Managing Partner of Isaacs Advisory. He has extensive experience in advising on, structuring, and sourcing both traditional and non-traditional financing solutions for a wide range of clients and industries.

He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and spent approximately 10 years working in public accounting, 5 of which were at a mid-market Toronto-based CPA firm (later acquired by Deloitte).

In addition to being a CPA, CA, Adrian holds a Chartered Insolvency & Restructuring Practitioner (CIRP) designation and is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT – inactive). He spent a decade in the corporate restructuring division of Farber, a national restructuring and consulting practice, where he advised businesses on restructuring and was involved in various formal proceedings, including private & court-appointed receiverships, bankruptcies, and Division 1 Proposals.

During this time, Adrian identified that many businesses seeking to restructure were, in fact, poorly financed or they could not, or didn’t know how to refinance their bank debt with alternative lenders. This insight led him to evolve his skill set to meet that need, initially as the CFO at a Family Office that operated a national equipment leasing business, and subsequently, he was the Founding Partner of the Business Financing practice at Farber (subsequently acquired by TorQuest Capital & rebranded as Glass Ratner).

He spun off his corporate finance practice in 2018 and rebranded it Isaacs Advisory.

Adrian is also the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Black Bull Capital Ltd., an investment holding company that manages a focused large-cap equity portfolio, including investments in select pre-IPO unicorns.

In his spare time, Adrian enjoys travelling, watching F1, and honing his high-performance driving skills on racetracks across North America and Europe.
